  Stereographic or "Little Planet" projections are made from 360x180 degree panoramas. This tutorial shows how it is done.

  My own design of photographic gallery (tutorial here) avoids having to scroll by using thumbnails which auto-scale in size according to the size of the screen. All of the thumbnails in any gallery are visible at once, on any size of screen.

These are 21 short silent excerpts from my Super8 movies, mostly of formula one racing in the '60s and '70s, and one (with sound) at the 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed. They have (mostly) beeen transferred to digital by projecting them and filming the screen, but the quality is mediocre, with focusing and parallax errors.

Some of the movies have now been professionally digitised: a new longer one of the 1971 South African GP replaces three shorter ones: the last one is just the slow-motion drifting sequences from the longer one.

My movies have been viewed over 440,000 times on YouTube and have attracted many favourablecomments: thank you! You can watch them by clicking on one of the thumbnails below, or by watching them on YouTube.
